Simon Jordan has rather cryptically stated on air that Koeman’s reign at Everton ended due to a personal issue rather than purely just down to results.. quite possibly the personal issue was impacting results and performances at the time.

Jordan said the issue is/was well known within footballing circles.

Anyone shed any light on this?

I heard it was the one off countdown, can't believe he would have an affair with Anne Robinson though.

An affair I believe was the rumour.

Allegedly he was caught in a compromising position with Mr William Kenwright in the Dixie Dean Suite and it was decided it was for the best to terminate his contract with immediate effect. No idea how true that is but it's what I've heard.

Not good. I just read that his wife battled cancer at some point before or during his stint at Everton.

The alleged affair could explain why he always seemed to be on the ‘golf course’ I suppose.
