Knee-jerkers

I hope another thread like this doesn't rear it's head.

Sometimes the team needs to be criticised. The manager needs to be criticised.

It's games like the Spurs game where we need to press on. We can beat Man U comfortably, we should be able to kick on against Spurs. I just think we have far too many players at the moment who are just refusing to take responsibility.

I think its fair to knee jerk.

We beat Chelsea, United and Sporting and look like we are a match for anyone....

Then play 2 games on the bounce and not capitalise, looking terrible for the majority of the games.

Its frustrating.

Didn't you just start 2 of your own?

Actually, the purpose of this thread was to highlight some of the tittish comments being made in lieu of us losing.

The players and manager and not exempt from criticism, but some comments made on here are not criticism.

I haven't seen the game today (I don't have Setanta, and did not watch a stream) but by all accounts we deserved a draw despite some players being HUMAN rather than autonomous football playing robots.

No.

I talked about:

1. The club not taking chances to progress.
2. The team not starting until 30 minutes in.

That's not knee-jerking. Knee-jerking is calling for Moyes to be sacked.

Knee jerking is starting threads like that after we lose! Never seen a thread like that after we win!

Take it you did not watch the LIsbon game either?

I watched the Lisbon game. It was terrible. What you are doing is glazing over the rest of the post and concentrating on one aspect of my post which you are taking out of context.

However some comments on here, as I said, we not criticism. You know exactly which comments I am referring to. It is the extreme stuff being said I don't agree with.

I personally think Moyes got it wrong at Lisbon. His plan was all wrong for the players he had at his disposal and as such highlighted one of his major weaknesses that he needs to address to help him develop as a manger and for us as a team to progress.
