His weak, he looks like the guy who is picked last when your playing five a side and only went because his mom made him go.
When he you realise he is the only choice left you don't even acknowledge him, the four of you walk away as he starts to walk towards you.

yet he became captain of ajax, which means he was the one picking the team. his side went on to win titles and lost in the final of europa.

davies gana baines coleman...even michael keane appear no more physical than he.

Davies granted
Gana baines and Coleman know how to hold their own if they need to.

Klaassen’s future up in the air

Davy Klaassen’s long term Everton future has been cast into severe in doubt and even Marcel Brands is unsure on the matter.

Big things were expected of Klaassen when he arrived at the Blues from Ajax last summer for a fee around £24 million, but his time at Goodison has been nothing short of a nightmare.

The Dutchman made just 16 appearances in all competitions in his debut campaign at Everton, and was banished from first team duties for the majority of the season.

He was withdrawn early in the second half against Bournemouth and didn’t have a sniff of Premier League action until the campaign spiralled to an unsatisfying end, where he came off the bench three times in the Toffees’ final nine fixtures.

Klaassen’s determination cannot go unnoticed, with the former Ajax captain explaining how he doesn’t regret coming to the L4 outfit, he said: “Coming to Everton was the right choice for me.

“A club full of passion, suitable for my game style. I feel like I’m at home,” he continued: “I can’t wait to start the new season in Everton.”

Everton’s new Director of Football is familiar with Klaassen as he had many chances to look at the 25-year-old whilst the pair were in the Netherlands.

Brands was asked about Klaassen's Everton future and he said: “I can only tell you something about him from when he played in Holland. He was a very good player, he was the captain of Ajax, a very clever player, a good goal scorer, but last season there were a lot of players in his position, so it was very difficult for him. In the end he didn’t play so much.

"What we will do this week is to take decisions on what player fits in our plans for the next situation.”

Reports suggest Besiktas are keen on taking Klaassen off the Blues’ hands, as well as numerous clubs from his native Holland but his sky-high wages could deem to be a stumbling block in any potential move.
Is he re-training as a pilot?

If I remember rightly silva had will Hughes playing well above his means at Watford, very similar player to Klaassen. I think silva might use him in the same capacity, I think he at least deserves a chance to prove himself.

Hughes only completed 90 minutes once under Silva (against us as it happens). He only started 3 other games, so it'd be difficult to say he had him doing much to be honest.

For all the times that Sam rained on your parade,
And all the grounds you got in using your name,
You think you broke my heart, oh Dave for goodness sake,
You think I'm crying, on my own well I ain't

Well if you like, the way, you play so much,
Oh Davy you should go and prove yourself,
And if you think, that I'm, still holding on,
Oh Davy you should go and prove yourself.

With the change in the transfer window this season and it closing on 9th August, there isn't much time for Silva and Brands to do a full assessment of any players if they want to sell in this window. I suspect most decisions will be made based on their performances over last season which means things won't look good for Klassen. I suspect he'll be put up for sale.

Having switched off the day the corrupt oaf was announced, I've barely seen anything of Klassen in an Everton shirt....but my general rule of thumb would be not to judge any players too harshly who had to work under those last two managers.

I am hoping Silva is a manager who takes what he has in the squad and improves them.

The only 100% definite punts out the door should be Williams, Martina, Mirallas, Bolasie and Former Manchester United Football Club Legend Wayne Rooney.

The rest I'd completely accept any decision to keep em on and would be watching to see what a more progressive manager can do with them.

Boss the way he keeps saying he wants to fight for his place and we keep trying to loan him to crapper and crapper teams each time.

The way it is going we will end up loaning him to some team in Wales by the time he agrees to actually get off.

Right attitude, unfortunately he has 16 appearances and I remember very little of note about any of them after his first couple.

Prepared to wait and see how a full pre-season with us helps, but otherwise we should bite the hand off anyone offering a wedge anywhere close to what we paid for him.
