Dont know why this kit malarky is so difficult. Its a blue shirt with white trim, white shorts and socks, away kit is amber with blue shorts and amber socks... we need to be selling them everywhere in the world to make as much money as possible - anything other than those simple guidelines should be binned.

Any official confirmation of this? Where has this come from?

Wounded if true. Umbro are pony.

People moan about template kits from Nike, Adidas etc but Umbro do it too.
People say this year's kits are the best for a while and whilst true, the year before was one of our worst home kits ever. Who's to say we don't get another bad one next year?
Nearly all of our Premier League era kits are Umbro. Looks dull, looks small time, I'd love to see a change to Adidas, Under Armour or Puma.

It's not a massive deal but I think presentation is important. How many top teams in Europe have kits made by Umbro?

So four? Across the whole of Europe?

That more or less proves my point. Umbro are dull and small time. We've had them forever. I'd love to see a change.

Umbro got taken over by Nike and they assumed all of their teams.

When Umbro broke off they’re building bases again. Okay, they’re not a great, but you can’t knock them for basically starting again from scratch and not having the huge “Global” teams we want.

If anything we should have been made up that Umbro wanted us to be their flagship team. Doesn’t mean I’m a fan, but they’re at least produced some good gear and not the templates everyone with Adidas and Nike have.

Strange one this. One year extension only, no official announcement...

Can only think Ryazantsev and the commercial team think with BMD planning permission secured this time next year (theoretically I know) they will have more leverage in negotiations. All the major sportswear brands are now looking for long term multi level tie-ups (5 years seems absolute minimum). So why lock yourself into something long term if you think you will have more options in 12 months time?

I don't care who they are with, but we need to increase our commercial revenue and jersey sales could help.

Buying Rooney last year could've been a bit of a windfall but was not.

Let me give you another example - Hirving Lozano. Obviously Pulisic over in the states is a big deal financially. Leading up to the world cup, the #1 selling jersey in 9 states was Hirving Lozano's Mexico jersey, including California. That's ahead of Messi and others. You put him in an Everton kit with the right kit deal, and we may FINALLY see an Everton kit or two in a mainstream store. People love soccer jerseys in the states, but in regular stores, you see Tottenham, Man U, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool everywhere. You also see Bayern, Real, Barca, and Dortmund jerseys often due to Pulisic.

For a team that is historically the most US friendly team, we are really missing out on commercial revenue from the US marketplace.

Isnt that why we got Li Tie? Help us break in to that sweet Chinese market?
