Can you imagine what would happen if Everton got sponsored by Gillette?

The implosion on this forum would be enough to collapse civilisation for decades.

Right umbro
This kit next year
And throw big Bob in.

Why are you in here again?

Why not? Why are you here and not researching sports kit manufacturers and the difference they mske in winning trophies. By my reckoning we've had near 25 new home kits made by 4 manufacturers with 4 sponsors since we won a pot and not one has made winning trophies again any more likely.

Just don't get the obsession. Its a money making scheme - simple.

What is everyones major gripe with kitbag or fanatics

What @Charles Hawtrey said.

Also it doesnt matter how many kits we sell, our pay off will always be the same. It is a set total so we get the same amount if we sell 1 shirt or 100,000, this is obviously a good deal if we only actually sell one shirt but if we were to sell 200,000 we would still only get what we would have got if we sold 100,000.

Not sure how Fanatics factors in financially, but over here (when licensed) they make really solid supporter/fan stuff (t shirts, polos, sweatshirts, etc.) that would be a great improvement over the casual stuff that EvertonDirect has now. I don't mind Umbro's designs other than them trying to force too many little EFC "features" into each shirt, but that's where the big improvement would come from Nike/Adidas/etc. IMO - more visibility and better non-kit gear.

They have to wear something, and it IS a commercial enterprise any way you look at it. Point is you want great looking shirts and not poxy ones.

Calling it an obsession is weird seeing as you’re also here posting about it. You don’t want players running about like hobos - didn’t Alex Ferguson once chuck out a kit at half time? All feeds into to psyche of the players on the pitch if you haven’t realised.

The 3rd kit this year is superb - proof in the fact we’ve not lost in it yet and played our best football this season in it.

Hobos? They apparently couldn't pick each other out in that game. Just a poor excuse for getting humped I suspect. Players honestly couldn't care too much about the kit. Its like the military being prissy about their camo.

3rd kit is nice tho. No bearing on the results in it though.

Kudos for shoe horning psyche in too.
