KIRKBY MOVE REJECTED

It just has, by you.

From what ive seen of that, its unworkable.

Bestway spent a lot of money proving otherwise, HOK (who are no mugs in the Stadium Game) and WSP were brought in to substantiate the capability to build a Stadium with a capacity of a minimum of 55,000; the Club's parting shot?

"We want something that can be readily upgraded to an ultimate capacity of 75,000 " - K Wyness Esq.

As for the cost of building on a plinth, it's been done before, Vincente Calderon Stadium in Madrid being one example, Croke Park and Old Trafford have also bridged roads / railway lines; it is also not prohibitively expensive.

So you think they are putting a dark cloud over the club?

Do you categorically dismiss a suggestion that the current board are not looking to sell at all?

I know as much about the inner dealings at the club as KEIOC or internet in the know type. Nothing.

KEIOC has been a mutual backslapping society. If we were to move onto Stanley Park there would be a protest group at that.

I want my club to be successful and for that we need money we dont have any even more so dont look like having at any point soon.

But, since Warren Bradley is a hero - lets see what he does now. Now the onus is on him to deliver.

We need businessmen. People who know what they are doing.

Dave I just cannot see how there can be a change at the top like I stated before. It is not merely a question of the current holders putting their shares up for sale but is there anyone wanting to buy!

We have a feller on the board with a personal fortune of £150M. He's said Kirkby was crucial to any spending from his quarter. It isn't happening and there's nothing in the pipeline. It looked a good punt for him (and whoever's in with him in BCR sports). Now it looks like money tied up in a company who's stock has just fallen. That has to be a factor in the short term future of Everton.

Downward Dave??

By the way from what i have read Bradley is not beating a path to Everton's door but rather waiting for the board to be shuffling upto him. He has apparently cited trust is required????

No mattewr what has been voiced on here we will just have to await developments.

i read last night that bradley said that when Everton want to sit down with LCC they are there. i don't know about 'go cap on hand' as dave said cos they have known that the exclusivity deal prevented them from talking previously i.e. since they signed it.

Trust does need to be re-established between LCC and Everton. I dont see that as the main problem, though. The big stumbling block is that this lot in charge have to be fatigued with the stadium issue right now. It's going to take an almighty effort for people like Kenwright to turn to face in another direction (and with any credibility) to involve themselves in another stadium deal. There is a big gap there now between the 'facility led' strategy (which is the only one this board have open to them) and their ability to deliver it. I dont think they can bridge that gap. We need new men in the boardroom. How quickly we get them will depend on how realistic this present lot in pricing their shares.

I would think it would fill him with renewed optimism. I never really believed Kenwright was 100% behind the move. It was all Wyness from what I read and saw.

they could move quickly to get out of the 'eggs in one trolley' situation, if they spun it right they would try to act quickly citing that they have been prevented whilst d.k. was going on, and can now look at other plans if still available.

that was something i thought today. How much was it a case of Bully selling it to b.k. ? afterall as CEO it was more his job than bill's, once signed up no going back, and Bully sneaks off to Majorca to sun his ample rump.

Exactly, and wasn't it strange that when the truth finally came out about the reality of the deal - Wyness fecks off.
