Honestly I think it's a bit of a "Nothing Burger" and it won't be the big cultural discussion point you think it is, at least for these first three episodes

I was doing some work so I stuck the first episode on and a bit of the second just to have something on in the background, and the main take away I got from it is that Harry is still majorly messed up from what happened to his mum and he's terrified the same will happen to his wife

The Royal Family didn't really even figure in what I saw, it was just "the media are horrible"

And yeah, the media is kind of horrible. If that's the main thrust of the series then I don't think it'll have the pull others do, unless they really start having a go at the royals in later episodes

They`re getting slagged of for doing it in every paper in Europe, so it`s a bit more than a " Nothing Burger "

I get where you`re coming from though.

Personally, I don`t think they`re doing themselves any favours by doing it, but then again it`s all about the money.

Given the sustained media campaign against his wife, I don't really see what other way of fighting back he has. It seems to be the same people who have an irrational hatred of them that are telling them they should shut up.

Look, I "support" them, the way they have been treated is disgusting, but, I know they need the money, but complaining about press intrusion while selling themselves to the media daily, well, it seems a bit silly.

But hey, people gotta get paid, so I do really understand.

I don’t really know tbh, it just seems that they’ve now opened themselves up to the press right across Europe, sticking their boot in now.

Obsessed with the race aspect.

That was just one of the things that made her unacceptable to marry the queen's grandson. (in the eyes of the establishment).
Other objections being, divorced, foreign , soap opera actress and from a poor background.
Not that I agree with any of it, but then I'm not the establishment, the people behind the scenes who decide what happens in the UK.

Did this chap go into repetitious detail over the swag bags of cash the saudis got to his maj? And questionable accounting in charities/covid effects on all businesses. Lets see how much scrutiny others accrue (think I read to about 40 but the steady chipping away presented as even handed was frankly annoying)
