Did this chap go into repetitious detail over the swag bags of cash the saudis got to his maj? And questionable accounting in charities/covid effects on all businesses. Lets see how much scrutiny others accrue (think I read to about 40 but the steady chipping away presented as even handed was frankly annoying)

No, he just looked at that one charity and what he found should concern everyone. Graft should be dealt with wherever it is found, especially when it harms some of the most vulnerable people in society who are already suffering from a chronic lack of funding.

Fine, he ought not to be casting aspersions upon the charities watchdog then. It devalues his legitimate point as it appears an attempt to smear and preempt any counterpoints.

Look, I "support" them, the way they have been treated is disgusting, but, I know they need the money, but complaining about press intrusion while selling themselves to the media daily, well, it seems a bit silly.

But hey, people gotta get paid, so I do really understand.

Not having a go at you goat but it really does baffle me how people can make this point - I mean, the media monetize other people (celebs and normal folk) all the time without their consent, without paying them anything for the privilege and even without compensating them for the damage done to them by that and yet when the people themselves do it is "selling themselves to the media" and somehow shameful.

I don't think he was, he was just saying that they really need to look into it no matter what political pressure is put on them (though his comment about Abbott was a bit daft as all he basically alleged was that they had been in a photo together, as opposed to Pidgeon who was rather more involved).

How the palace let this person in seems mad.

The analysis is rather damning but worth noting that the name badge could have had any of the following names on it.

[Point] 35. I should clear up, whenever I write Ngozi Fulani, keep in mind this could also mean:

Ngozi Headley;
Ngozi Headley-Fulani;
Marlene Headley;
Marlene Fulani;
Mary Headley;
Mary Fulani;
Mary Headley-Fulani;
or
Sister Ngozi.

For avoidance of any doubt, this is all the same person.

I agree with what you're saying Diogenes however I guarantee if you was in the same situation you would be judged in the woke court based on little to no evidence other than one person claiming to be offended by your conversation and as a result you lose your job, livelihood and your reputation tarnished forever and some find that acceptable.

I used to think these people were just misguided fools/student types but through the lens of my third eye I see this group as being a real threat to our liberties and freedoms of expression. They're the left wing equivalent of those mad baptist pastors in the US who are fiddling taxes and touching kids whilst judging everything else that moves.
This bit is just begging for the handiwork of the Photoshop pros around here.

I get where you're coming from. Of course, the right wing over here isn't that far off shooting people dead rather than just ruining their livelihoods, so there's that.

To modify slightly a quote from an ACLU type over here in reply to something considerably more heinous (racist custom license plate) I showed her, "I don't agree with it, but I will defend to the death their right to say it." I think that's a reasonable position to stake out.

It should just say 'race grifter'.
There's a (non-minority) female member of Congress over here from Arizona with a phone book of aliases. Hubby went to the clink, but she didn't.

For some reason, our society is a lot more tolerant of women with shady pasts than men. We're also very willing to turn a blind eye to men with that sort of a past under the right circumstances. Tim Allen is probably the best example - former coke dealer gone comedy superstar, who got a pass on drunk driving along the way.

Didn't he have to snitch and wear a mic to trap those in the chain supplying? And wasn't he about 19 or so? Not that I like him in any sort of way, home improvement was tolerable for one blonde reason only...

Dunno about the wire, but he had to snitch to avoid a possible life sentence. Mid-twenties when he got caught.
