However I see a lot of people on social media feeling "sorry" for Kanye West saying he's clearly unstable and needs help, his hanger ons need to have a word with him etc.

I guarantee if Kanye was white and talking about loving Hitler and was being insulting to Jews and Black folk he'll be in cuffs by the end of the day.

You might want to read the First Amendment about what speech is allowed/not allowed.

Sadly racism even gets into the world of chess. The greatest chess player of all time Bobby Fischer (Active between the late 50's-mid 70's, died in 2008) Fischer had some rather interesting views on certain subjects despite being of Polish/Jewish background.
