I think she wanted the life of a princess with none of the duties and responsibilities that came with it and is bitter against the institution that wanted her to fulfil the expectations of the role.
Pure conjecture from someone not in the slightest bit involved or informed.

Yet Meghan’s own first hand testimony is in your eyes somehow less valid? Ok mate.

Edit - just read that it was Harry that told Meghan about the comments re the baby’s skin colour, so why would he make this up?

She complained about not getting paid for a Royal tour, that's indicative of her dedication to the role.

But you can keep shouting racism if it makes you feel better, people could say I'm being racist I suppose although I made the exact same argument about Diana.

It's not a role suited for everyone, seems she thought it would be all waving from balconies and parades.

I agree this is an issue however to be able to say with an adequate degree of certainty that this was the case in this instance. We can't possible ascertain whether she was questioning her 'Britishness' or just clumsily making small talk.

Making people nervous to ask people where they come from in case they're accused of racism is something that should not be happening.
When I was more hands on in faculty work I would take the role of supervisor to PG students, oftern international students. It was a regular occurance for them upon hearing my northern accent to ask where I was from, assuming I was Scottish. It was a regular occurrence but never a point I took as an insult more an opportunity to lighten the mood and get to know one another. I'd reciprocate and enquire about them, where they came from etc. I never once was accussed in this process of getting to know someone as being racist. I have many a time asked UK students of BAME heritage about their heritage - not because I am in some way subtely racist, I am the polar opposite but like to know who I am dealing with.

Marlene Headley, parents Gladstone and Mildred Headley are from Barbados. Marlene's children all carry her birth family name, Headley, not the name she has chosen to run with now. She has chosen to ignore her rich caribbean heritage and for some reason chosen a Nigerian first name and a second name that is that of a West African nomadic trible of herdspeople and farmers.

If we look at a transcript Melanie/Ngozi has produced you can see her mind was loaded. She is stood dressed in African clothing with an African name on her name badge.

Lady SH: “Where are you from?”
Ms Fulani: “Sistah Space.”
SH: “No where do you come from?
Ms Fulani: “We’re based in Hackney.”
SH: “No, what part of Africa are you from?”
Ms Fulani: “I don’t know, they didn’t leave any records.”

Melanie/Ngozi could have said that she was not African, though her actions clearly communcate that she wants to be seen as African, or that her parents are from Barbados but instead she offers what seems a confrontational statement - I don’t know, they didn’t leave any records.

I'd say that this is all a part of her grift. Ngozi is her stage name to validate getting funds for her charity and she is milking this situation for all that she can.

Think you've nailed that there.

Shame on anyone calling for that poor woman to lose her job.

Shush, they won't like it. It's all the fault of establishment lackeys you know.

I'm not a vengeful person and I wish no harm/ill on the woman involved in this incident however I do hope she gains a conscience from this incident and comes oot in the media and apologises to the arl bird in question who must be distraught after all of this.

I doubt it will happen though as she's a fully fledged member of the victimhood club.

It will never happen.

She's probably alleging trauma from the experience and trying to get additional funding if she agrees to not make any more noise.

The problem is it's so subjective based on the feelings of a person, especially with 'micro aggressions' and unconscious bias being taken as factors without adequate evidence on which to base conclusions.

I think sometimes people walk away from a conversation with two different perceptions on how it went. People can offend without malice or intent and this is why if possible people should be open and explain how the other person made them feel. Also context is also important, if you are offended perhaps examine why you felt this way. Maybe it was a pressured situation or you felt out of place, maybe your mood or social matters made you feel more sensitive.

I'm all for getting any and all racism in the bin but smearing anything and everything as racially motivated isn't helpful. If all you've got is a hammer everything looks like a nail. If you are out to take every perceived slight as racist then you will see it as such.

This ^^^^…….

I mean, it’s not a hanging offence, for sure. I’m not even sure it’s something that she should lose her job for. Think painting it as a grift is unsubstantiated though.

But transposing that conversation into one I might have in a pub. Asking a black girl or guy within seconds of meeting them “No, what part of Africa are you from?” is a ‘kin weird sentence that I can’t really imagine saying.

I agree with what you're saying Diogenes however I guarantee if you was in the same situation you would be judged in the woke court based on little to no evidence other than one person claiming to be offended by your conversation and as a result you lose your job, livelihood and your reputation tarnished forever and some find that acceptable.

I used to think these people were just misguided fools/student types but through the lens of my third eye I see this group as being a real threat to our liberties and freedoms of expression. They're the left wing equivalent of those mad baptist pastors in the US who are fiddling taxes and touching kids whilst judging everything else that moves.

My third eye spits into your mums throat.
