2025/26 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall

Interesting phrasing. Sounds annoyed. Much prefer honesty compared to waffle about progress and projects.

He’s fuming with himself for missing some very good chances that would’ve changed games, we’d have easily beat palace if he’d taken his chances just for one

I saw an interview with Beto where he said he was trying to tell KDH it’s ok because the most important thing is getting into the position and it’s ok, he’ll score the next one but KDH wasn’t having it at all

He won’t be happy until we’re successful and he’s gone full Lampard scoring 15+ a year and I love that about him

He creates far, far more chances than Doucoure, and if we had a decent striker he'd have more assists, same as for Grealish. He has slipped off like everyone else in the last couple months, he's out of gas because Moyes won't use the bench.
He does if you include set plays, otherwise his passing falls short. He keeps the ball better, which let’s be honest is a super low bar, but he doesn’t do nearly enough with it. Genuinely Beto is a decent striker. The service lets him down more than the other way around. Not saying he’s got 20 goals in him. He is decent though. The creativity isn’t there. Some is KDH, much more the tactics, but better tactics don’t make KDH more creative.

Not the first time he's come out and started his disappointment with his performances. Is he going to learn and add some consistency, or will it always be like this with him? Missed countless piss easy chances this season.

Between injury and suspension he’s only made 31 appearances. If he’s gassed after that he needs to work on his fitness.
Form dropped off for sure, but I can’t see it being down to exhaustion.

Whole team collectively pissed their pants when Europe was in our hands, thanks to the cowardly manager who’s terrified of champions league footy - glad he’s fed up and fuming, they all should be livid.

Sign a few more like him, get a manager who plays him in his proper position and we will do sound.

Needs a manager to play him in position.
I’m assuming most of the people who say this think he should be a more box to box type playing in a three man midfield instead of our two deeper midfielders with an attacking player who sometimes is closer to a forward which is what his position is. And I do see that some sure. But my take on that is Everton can’t compete with Arsenal, City, Chelsea, the RS and go down the list trying to do that. All of those clubs are more or less 4-3-3 type clubs. We probably can’t beat them doing the same things in the same system. And KDH isn’t good enough to get into any of those teams. It’s going to leave us short.

I don’t really know what that means for him personally, but I strongly believe the best path forward for the club is to be a little more unique with how we approach setting up the team. If we’re going to keep in this 4-4-1-1 type shape, and truthfully I believe there’s a way to make that work although it probably won’t be Moyes doing it, it probably means KDH needs to be an option and not a full time guy. More than anything for this to work there needs to be a degree of directness in our play when we win the ball in good areas and KDH isn’t that type of player.
