We need to treat him in A very similar manner as Leipzig treated Lookman, very few minutes against certain teams & then appearances & starts against the easier teams particularly those that sit deep.
If he is going to fulfill his considerable potential he will need to learn to play in a 3 man midfield long term as that is were he will be the most effective.

Minutes on the wing is fine for now.

Yes I'd be keeping Dowell personally because he will offer something different on the right hand side compared to Sandro who you would assume is Walcotts understudy.

I think we'll try and shift Sandro and that moves Dowell up as an option after Walcott and also a 2nd/3rd option behind Gylfi and Bernard

Given the type of player Brands has brought in and the style of play that we expect to see from Silva, this season is a real opportunity for Dowell to nail down a place in the squad.
