People are way way way too harsh on the younger lads here. Not saying Pennington will become Beckenbauer but people like Dowell we've rarely seen and he did work at Forest then fell off apparently.

Agree on Dowell, think he will do well with us but Pennington is propa turd he hurts my eyes and he's the worst of our cbs and that takes some doing considering who the others are

During this poor pre -season Richarlison has stood out as an genuinely exciting player.
Dowell by contrast has been as nondescript as the rest.
If he was the player we all hoped he would be this was his moment to shine and seize his future for us.
Sadly he hasn't and I fear his chance may have passed.
