Well that didn’t take long. Decent move for him, Rangers are poor but can catch Celtic relatively quickly if their new owners invest heavily by SPL standards.

People painting this as a step down really must have been asleep when Edu, who probably had a job at Arsenal for as long as he wanted, left of his own accord to go to Nottingham Forest.

I’m ambivalent towards him and the DoF model in general, as soon as he leaves I’ll probably never give him another seconds thought ever again.

It’s clear is that he’s done a decent job here, particularly when compared to predecessors. Recognising that doesn’t make anyone a ‘Kevaholic’, nor does acknowledging that landing a top job at Rangers having spent about 5 minutes in limbo isn’t a bad place to end up.
