Lookman and Lennon are the wingers left. Bolasie is out. Why didn't Koeman keep Kev this is quite unbelievable.
The manager seems to have a lot of faith in Lookman and Bolasie should be back before Christmas. I think that RK often sets up a team without genuine wide players in it. When he plays 5-3-2 the width comes from the wing backs.
I think he likes players like Rooney and Sigurrdsson who can operate wide and in a central role during a game.

I think it may also be possible that a player has become available that RK is interested in and leaves Mirallas surplus.

I didn't expect this to happen, I think the new contract was probably to protect the investment but if we look at how little time Kevin Mirallas has been spending on the pitch it may not be such a huge surprise.

Would be a strange move if he went out on loan with no one coming in.

Always thought Mirallas was a good option to come of the bench if you're chasing a game.

And Lookman and Lennon as the wing option. This is a crap move. I find it strange Kev was left on the bench for the last 2 games. Could there be an arugument between him and Koeman?

Same as the Barry case. We are letting two useful squad players go while we are struggling to get rid of the few obvious deadwoods in the squad. Am not happy with a loan just perm or stay. This is not beneifical to the squad we got about 2 games to play in a week this season.

I am subjective on this. I like Kev as a player and won't get rid of him, yet.

Letting Barry go made a lot more sense though. It wouldn't have been fair to hold him to his contract when first team football was on offer to him at WBA.

If Mirallas is on his way out then that makes a lot less sense, especially if he's going to Greece.

Well liked Everton player is Mirallas. Enjoyed seeing him show glimpses over the years but as has been mentioned before, he's mainly flattered to deceive.
What's the point of having an "option" on the bench if the option doesn't do anything when on?

If he's leaving, best of luck and if he stays then I hope he does more.

With both in the squad I think we were stronger. They are good rotation players. If we want to achieve something we need 2 teams in the squad as the high number of games going to come. I don't believe some of the back-up can do better jobs than Barry and Mirallas.
