The bad thing is we are struggle to get rid of the deadwoods.

And now we let Kev goes on loan what is the point? The team is really short on numbers. He got to offer a lot more than Lennon.
If (and we should) we beat Sunderland, we're in he Last 16 of the League Cup. We then have a cracking chance of actually winning it.

Add that into the Europa League/League games and then FA Cup, why would we be getting rid of any players that can have an impact?

Don't get me wrong, he doesn't start, but a good team needs more than it's first Xl.

I think that he has offered very little over the last two seasons and would probably benefit from a move.

A very good and exciting player when he was at his best, but we have seen his best in all too rare glimpses recently.

We have seen under RK that if a player isn't performing then he is not kept around.

However, I would have thought that at this stage of the transfer window there would be a lot of interest in him and a reasonable fee as well.

I agree this is the strangest thing Koeman has done. Yes. 60 plus games. I believe Kev is a useful squad player. I would have started him in EL three days ago. We are letting a useful forward player go this is not making sense. Just like letting Barry go. He offers a lot of more than Lennon who I believe should be sold instead. Lookman is young and learning and he is just as inconsistent as Kev.

There are quite a few deadwoods around. Kev is not one of them. Sad to see him leaves this way unless we have someone younger and better coming in which I doubt it would happen, at such a late stage of the transfer window. And a loan is absolutely pointless.

Lookman and Lennon are the wingers left. Bolasie is out. Why didn't Koeman keep Kev this is quite unbelievable.

Just seen he liked an instagram post by red_life7 in Greek with a photo of him which is Olympiacos news. Think he's off lads
