He is most often played out of position - and has still been involved in 10 goals (scored/assists) in the league.

The point is we had him on contract. He could have still been here to beef up the first team squad...there was no need to add another four seasons onto his contract. That tells me he is very much in the first team plans of this manager.

I don't think Mirallas should have been given a 4year(!) extension. Similarly, I am a bit ambivalent about Coleman's 5 year deal (largely because of the injury). And DCL 4 years???
Everton had better do significantly better business than this in the window...

Odd how Williams arrival has seen us concede far fewer goals this season, and Swansea have shipped far more.....spooky coincidence.

Bolasie was doing alright until his awful injury, to label him 'useless' is completely clueless.

Not a player to take us to the top 4. I dint think anybody is arguing that. But we have the europa league next season. This totally changes the format and first 11 week in and week out. He will be a squad player. Starting and coming on for the so called easier fixtures. He works hard. Has a bit of ability. Doesnt give the ball away. He just lacks goals and final ball. He will do for partucular matches when players need rest. We need a squad and he will be a decent squad player.
