I don't expect us to have 18 Ronaldos mate but Mirallas doesn't look bothered most of the time. Neither does Lukaku you could say but at least Lukaku makes up for it with his goals- bar about 5 games over the last 2 seasons Mirallas has stank the gaff out

Fair enough. He is a squad player though. Very few teams have 18 class players if any. 5 year contract just means we have more leverage if we decide to sell him.

Pretty much this... apart from derbies and Man U games I haven't seen him perform well tbh

Blind has played in 36 games this season (all competitions Dave) not 45

Both of them are squad players, we have europa next season with possibly an extra 10-15 games coming that season, we have gotten rid of some of the absolute dross we had and still have some to shift this summer - which will leave the squad really thin on numbers, even with a very good summer of recruitment, players like mirallas will still be needed for a fair amount of games, and rightly so.
