Kevin Mirallas

I agree, the Arsenal interest has been used as a stick to beat us with ( I reckon, could be wrong like )

Think you are right. With respect to this guy, after selling RVP, I think Arsenal fans would expect a bit more of a marquee signing than him

I'm starting to think the Arsenal interest is nonexistent now. It's just literally a case of us haggling the price down to about 6.5 million euros and signing him up.

thats what i thought as well but so many people are saying different things. i guess DAVIDMOYES seems to know whats going on. just wish he would post more.

I believe the term is leverage. But that makes me sound like an arse. From what Moyes today said I think he expects it to be done by Monday. I could just be imagining this.

I am actually starting to belive LCAB isnt ITK whatsoever

I'm not saying that, but he certainly doesn't know about Mirallas.

Anyway, not going there again, let's stay on topic.

I'm still holding hope he's in England for a medical very shortly. I can't see it happening if it's not done by tomorrow at the very latest, hope I'm wrong.

For me mate I can only see this not happening if Arsenal swoop in.

What if Arsenal swoop in on monday, or next wednesday? If it's not done by tomorrow I don't see how that changes anything really.

LCAB is the most reliable source on the internet and if he's saying it's off then it's off, but i'm sure Moyesie has another ace up his sleeve somewhere......NEXT.

We all want a bargain but ffs - for the sake of £500K - if this lad is the dog's then we should pay up - let's face it we'll get the money back in our finishing position in the league plus the £10-15M profit we'll blag when someone really big (Real or similar etc.) come sniffing.

Mirallas goes to Arsenal, they underperform, certainly don't challenge for the title seriously, Wenger's best days at Arsenal are behind him, he becomes another smaller name at Arsenal, he comes to Everton, he performs, we're above Arsenal, he's a global superstar by the end of next May.

You're paying a disservice to everyone else there. Was it LCAB who broke this story?

No, but the lid who broke it says it's still on. I'm going to believe him until he's proven wrong or says otherwise.

I don't think it'll be Arsenal. I think you're right in saying they hold no interest, but if a Champions League chasing club from Spain or Italy come in for Mirallas I don't think the lure of English football with Everton will hold much weight.

And let's face it, £6m approx is getting him on the cheap, so the closer the deadline gets the greater the chance of a late poach from another club.

Our only chance of getting this kid in my view was getting it done quick and early. Snapping him up quick, which is something 99% of other clubs have the ability to do when required. Not Everton though. I'm betting we're quibbling over £1,000 a week extra on wages or £50 per goal bonuses or something sh*t like that.

Well we'll see.

I do see where you're coming from though. I've been a bit worried since Sheedy said that Moyes is known as a bit of a ditherer in the market (or words to those effect).

Really really. He knows absolutely nothing about the Mirallas transfer.

Que vero or whatever. Around 30 pages of this thread are LCAB quotes about nothing.

Let's just stick to actual info tbh.

True, I've always thought he was the most reliable 'ITK' but I guess this not on this occasion.

Reading through his tweets just now, we shouldn't look into the fact he said there are others (whoever mentioned it above) as it doesn't mean it has broken down, anyone could say that.
