I even posted one of our players would get grocked midway through the derby.

*shakes fist at Muggins

Mirallas and Barkley are the two players in our squad who are really capable of doing something to change a match on a regular basis. We'll probably miss Mirallas more than we've missed Ross. Hopefully Pienaar will be back soon and play himself into the sort of form we know he's capable of.

The way he went down and had to be stretchered off it looks like a bad tear :-( could be 3 months I think.

If it's a grade 3 you fly-up in the air mate and it basically means you cant run again. My neighbour did it playing sunday league a few years back - completely flew up in the air and has never been able to sprint right since.

He didn't fly in the aire which is good, but he was obviously in loads of pain. I reckon it could be a bad pull or a small tear, not a whole tear. 6 weeks until he's back training if we're lucky, but the worst thing for a just recovered hamstring is cold weather. Could be Jan/Feb before we see him running freely again.

When he went off today it showed how little creativity we have without him or Barks. Martinez needs to be looking at this for Jan. No more of this 'we have a big enough squad'. We obviously don't.

Chuffed with the last-ditch point today, need to build on it now

It was when he tried to do a stepover to rid himself of Gerrard...just the act of lifting that right leg and bringing it down and moving off from it, it wasn't your typical full pelt run > pull up. For that reason it may be a bad pull as Blue Toff says.

Lets get a medical report lads!

Don't need confirmation for it to tell us he's gonna be out minimum 6-8 weeks mate, wasn't just a pull he was in real pain will atleast be a partial tear which is the above anything more could be more upto 12 weeks

So he will be fit for UTD then?!

It may have looked looked like nothing but the facial expression says everything. I tore mine jumping for a header playing Sunday league when I was a teenager, about 10 weeks of physio

the pain is unreal, the look on the photos of kev do not paint a happy picture. If he gets back for the xmas campaign I'll be happy (ish)

Pulled my hamstring a few months ago in gym. Grade 1. It hurt like fook. Hamstrings are very delicate and even a slight pull can hurt like billy-o especially if you can get to the speed he does. We don't know.
