...Mirallas was clearly fortunate to stay on the pitch. We are not in denial. What was funny was rodger's after match interview when he said had it been the other way around suarez would've seen red. Wasn't Rodgers at last seasons match. Also, suarez had a yellow yesterday and should've seen another when he pulled one of our lads back when counter-attacking, no comment from red camp on that one.

he got booked for that mate. remember the commentary team jizzing over dowd for playing on then coming back for the yellow. It's a pretty simple decision to make imo.
 
Rodgers on Suarez from last season's derby...

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers defended his striker - claiming the tackle was mistimed rather than malicious.
"I didn't think it was a red card," he said. "Sometimes you get that with a striker, when they are just a fraction late. They are trying to time it just as they pass it."

More or less word for word what Boberto said yesterday in relation to KM's striker tackle on the sewer rat.
