Not Even Arsed ......

The more I look, the more amazed I am he stayed on the pitch in a derby, normally refs don't even need a reason to send off one of ours.

Impartial - it's a definite booking.

Derby rules - usually a red. Astounded he wasn't, wouldn't have been difficult to not love him even more though.

Davek mentioned the physio came on and said something like it was a "red".

Dowd defo heard that and probably thought, "**** off, I make the decisions" and yellowed him.

Big thanks to that physio if true.

ha! wouldnt be surprised he deffo looks like he likes being 'the main man' was obvs thinkin about it,as was taking an age to give him the card

can you imagine gus poyet's fury tonight seeing his fellow countryman recieve that and only being yellow and compare it to wes brown's red, ha.

i stil refuse to say mirallas' was a red. not every foul that looks bad is a red. I can agree that if you go diving in full force with two feet is, because that is intentional to not only injure a player, but to ruin their career. never once did diving in two footed even cross my mind in my career. I saw gerrard today go for a similar lunge on barry, which nobody picked up. Wasn't a red, but their was intent there.

anyway, kind of wandered off the point there, fair play to kevin, RS fans can not moan, they're even more deluded than before if they believe suarez never had this coming. It was NOT a red though, it's a physical game, people are going to miss-time challenges with the speed of the game. we don't want to see tackles abolished.

big up for jim beglin? or whoever was commentating. might have been owen actually, who was trying to call mirallas out for intentionally stamping on suarez. If mirallas wanted to do that, i think suarez will still be in hospital now.

That drove me mad - it was when Suarez slid in on Mirallas at the touchline - was a fair challenge but mirallas jumped to avoid contact as Suarez slid under him - He was always going to land back on him due to the law of gravity.

They then spent the next few minutes showing replays and deciding that Kev prob didn't intend to stamp on him !!!!!!! but may have been lucky not to get a second yellow
