Anyway, back on topic, I'm confused as to how these news articles are saying he's "signed a four year deal" when he hasn't had a medical. Without a medical you can't sign anything notable. You can sign pre-contractual stuff and have everything ready to go (which is how I read this thread all along) but some of the media outlets are reporting it as "done", which is simply wrong.

Another clear issue is when ITKs express their opinion.

Sheedy is always keen to stress when he's just speculating, whereas LCAB talks... a lot. And it's in another language. So getting mixed messages is more likely.

I don't know why people are out to insult anyone with a proven track record of solid info, to be honest. We should be grateful for getting to occasionally peek behind the curtain.

For me, the big difference with LCAB is that he tends to only mention stuff that is a 'done deal'. I think I prefer that to be honest. There is no doubt that journo's etc pick up on these forums and I doubt very much that SKY would have been gettin an interview with Kev if this hysteria wasn't going on. The difference is that LCAB speaks his own language so you can forgive people for missing the finer details.

Baffles me why people get so wound up.

Let the 'ITK's' spout their stuff. 9/10 just recite what's already out there, or hide behind vague statements. "It could be a go'er", "in talks", "I'll let you know when it's safe"... When you appreciate that, you'll find the whole lot a good laugh.

Fair play to the Club, they've tighetend things up no end. Nobody saw Jelavic/Gibson coming, or Rodwell going in the manner he did (He was always 'available' asset but Man City in that speed was a surprise), or indeed Mirallas or Niang. I prefer it that way. There should only be 5 or 6 people at Everton with that information so there is no real excuse for it to be leaked unless one is a complete arse (Manager, Assistant Manager, Chairman, Chief Exec, Club Sec an Assistant Club Sec). People move on, "sources" come and go.

Regardless of past record, take it all with a massive pinch of salt and with good humour - and FFS, stop debating 'ITK accuracy' in transfer treads. Nobody can be arsed voluntarily opening themselves up to public scrutiny.
