Im sure some ppl will still put a positive spin on it, i guess some fans are just happy for it not to be the 90s, Walter Smith, Agent Johnson, i think they are happy to rest on our 5th from last season. They sadly dont realise that with the summer we have just had that the last 5 years have meant nothing.

Yes we have some wonderful players, nothing like the bad old days, but we have not 1 player in our squad who is a natural Centre Midfielder. Thats just shocking...............................

My main problem is not the sale of AJ, not the lack of transfer spending, its the fact that our chairman came out 3 weeks ago and told us all to watch this space, he made us believe something BIG was around the corner.

If he had come out and said, "You know what, if Kirkby gets called in, we have no money, we are gonna have to get some loaners in. But in all fairness we dont have any money, we have massive debts and im afraid we will have to sell a fringe player to keep the club afloat." That would have been dissapointing, but i would have understood and we would have known were we stand.

But instead he came out and gave his "Watch this space" Interview, he treated us like muppets, he treated us like children. He hasnt even had the decency to make another comment since then.

I did have a lot of time for him, i appriecated the work hes done and i honestly did understand that sadly he has no money. Thats fine, deep down i always thought he had our best interests at heart. But now i feel hes treated us less than dirt and some things i cant forgive.

Wether you like it or not teppic. People are allowed their own opinion. I don't like everything cal put's. But he's an evertonian an i can tell he's hurting. He's not like some other who seem just to want to wind people up. just don't respond, he will calm down in the end. Forums are a way to vent anger at whats going on. Better than booing at a match.
