"moyes and kenwright have done wonders in the past few years and should be forgiven for this shambles of a summer"

is this the case ?

or looking at the whole picture metaphorically........

moyes and kenwright are a runner in a 400 metre race , they equipment is [Poor language removed] , they havent trained , but the first 300 metres they run at record pace, keeping up with the olympic european and world champion.

then coming into the home straight with 100 metres to go , theres nothing in the tank and its looking like they will crawl over the line , in last place in a realy poor time.

running well in the first 300 means nothing , its where you are when you have crossed the line that matters.

do they desrve the stick they are defo gonna get ?

yes or no ?

No chance.

That's in the past. It doesn't matter anymore. In Football you have to progress every summer to make sure your ahead of the teams below you and also make a push to catch the teams infront.

Kenwright doesn't deserve another chance. He is a disgrace of the highest order.

They should not be forgiven for this shambles if we dont strengthen the squad. If there was a time to push on and challenge a top four position, this was the season. With the current squad we have, we will be lucky to get past Standard Liege in the uefa cup and Blackburn in the Carling Cup. This was the time to progress further and Moyes, Kenwright or whoever responsible is currently setting the club back. One step forward and three steps back springs to mind.

well cal , in 10 and a half hours i think your view points will be justified buddie.

If Kenwright fails to cough up before midnight tonight, he should do the decent thing and stand down. We are the only premier league side beside Man United "who dont really need to strengthen much" that have spent no money. Of course, if we can pull off one or two materstrokes late on, then BK will get all the praise in the world, lets hope and pray its the latter hey.

Its ok saying he should step down but who is going to takeover

people have showed interest in club but kenwright has knocked them back.

his reasoning " i will only sell to the right person "

well we clearly have the wrong person anyway.
id rather have someone with buisiness sense thats not a true blue , than a true blue with no buisiness sense at all.

"THE WRONG BUYER WHOULD DAMAGE THE CLUB " well we are being damaged anyway.

id rather have a change of face for a [Poor language removed] up chairman at the very least.

Once again its hard to disagree with this post

I dont think BK would see to the richest man in the world even if he bled blue blood becuase its his ego trip

He cant help it,its the ham actor in him

Any bloody body who is prepared to put his hands in his pockets and give something to the club, instead of holding out to make a personal bundle on a stadium move.

Halle-bloody-lujah! And there we have it in a nutshell.

I can't believe the apologists are still making excuses for this luvvie shyster.

So Lerner, Ashley, these Arabs, no-one has ever been interested in buying Everton?

Not saying every investor would have been good news, but saying that Everton is less attractive than Derby, Portsmouth, QPR and so on is frankly stupid.

some more food for thought.

what happens this time next season ?

stadium still up in the air ?
new manager needed ?
players wanting to leave ?
less revenue due to lack of season ticket and shirt sales ?
no european football ?
less prize money ?
the clubs less attractive for players to join ?

i just cant see how anything is gonna get easier while kenwright remains.

i said months ago , this could be the start of something beautifull or the begining of the end....since then anything and everything that could go wrong has gone wrong.
you couldnt [Poor language removed] it more if you tried to [Poor language removed] it up on purpose.
