Kenwright or Kenwrong

For all you doubters about Mr Kenwright I remember A BLOKE CALLED JOHNSON A FOOD HAMPER GUY.MR KENWRIGHT SAVED U.S. FROM BEING ,A LEEDS A SUNDERLAND A VILLA ALL YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE THANKING BILL KENWRIGHT FOR EVERTON F.C

I think you will find that was from selling our child prodigy and prize asset to Man U for 28m

I have only respect for the man. However I really would like to know how the Kings Dock project was cocked up. That cost us mega bucks and much time lost.

The world is made on opinions. I'm not so sure he's as bad as people say, equally he's not as good as this article suggests.

If we didn't have the money for kings dock, well, we didn't have it. I don't and did not see a queue of people willing to hand it over. Move on.

Moving to Kirkby wasn't an issue for me. Man U don't play in Manchester does anyone care?

His biggest failing is his own ego. Thanks for most of what you've done, he can jog on now.

There was someone willing to give the money for the Kings Dock

Kirkby wasn't an issue are you even messing? That inquiry was hilarious at best

I feel Kenwright and Mosh must have a great conflict of interests. Mosh wants us to be the best while Kenwright readily accepted premiership safety and mediocrity as success.
Kenwright was our saviour but that soon turned sour when we realised he wasn't keen on letting go and wanted us for himself. Self confessed skint but still didn't want anyone else to have his toy or play with his toy. Worst period in our history is his legacy.

He’s not a businessman ...

Oh, but he is, don't be fooled by that cheery facade, Bill's perfectly capable of being a hard-nosed businessman who can sweat his assets with the best of them. In fact, you could argue that's exactly what he's done with the club

Over the last three years for which accounts have been filed, his production company has turned over 24, 24 and 26 million and made profits of 1.1, 1.8 and 1.6 million.

In the cutthroat business of theatre production, Bill knows what he's doing and has made a tidy sum out of doing it. That doesn't put him in the same boat as the likes of Moshiri and Usmanov, but to say he's not a businessman is just wrong.

I said it wasn't an issue for me. Please don't misrepresent what I posted. For many it was, for me it wasn't.

Who had the money for KD then? And how do you KNOW, not guess or infer.

Paul Gregg had the money didn't he. Some kind of clause though like he owned it or made money from concerts or the like. Don't remember the full story but it ended with Kenwrighted forcing him to sell his shares....I Think

I'd take kenwright over Gregg any day of the week. IF its true, the I apologise for inferring there was no-one willing to put up the dough and swap my comment to "narrow escape".

A bit of both really init as I'm sure Bill cares far more deep down about us than Moshiri ever will and also knows the club inside out something I doubt Moshiri ever will but he ran us a bit like a cottage industry and by doing so I think he may well have missed the boat in getting serious investment and enough growth to help establish us as a top premier league club. He chose to be the people's club, which is just cover for having a second rate team and winning nowt.

Would have been interesting if he did accept his offer and we were in Kings Dock. Where would we stand now if that was the case.

Truth is, we may have been bought instead of man city, stadium was the decisive factor, I believe.

I mean who'd want what they've got? Me too.

But we can't change history, we have to move forward, regardless of previous events.
