They are open to selling Boateng, along with Robinho & Emmanualson.

Just look at the game time Niang go last season. He would have got less at Everton.

They were only going to sell Boateng if Monaco offered big money (they didn't), as for the others, they all play in different positions.

Niang is/will be a very good player, however he wouldn't have suited Moyes' 4-2-3-1.

They've slashed their wage bill but their wage cap is still probably about £100k p/w which is still a lot more than we can pay anyone.

Ultimately, if it comes down to a choice between us and Milan we'll probably lose out - but if we act quickly and move before Milan I don't see why we couldn't sign him.

Too bad our manager is still working his day job as a commentator

I still belive in Honda coming here, of course by that I mean that I know it won't happen deep down but I'm willing to get my hopes up anyway. Everton syndrome.

I've never been to Liverpool and speaking from a disinterested point of view, Milan would be miles more attractive than Liverpool.

This isn't meant to be a slight on Merseyside but honestly?

Liverpool has been the European capital of culture, Milan hasn't. That alone should seal it.

I genuinely think Liverpool is the best city in the UK and one of the best in Europe, but yeah, this. From Honda's point of view anyway.

Have you been to Milan? Apart from Piazza del Duomo, it's not that special.

It's got nothing on Rome, Florence, Turin or Venice.

Liverpool might not be the most attractive city in Britain, but it's not so different from Milan.

Honda probably has no idea that Everton is even in Liverpool, to be honest.

I bet if you asked him to name three ex-Everton players he wouldn't be able to tell you.

I reckon he wouldn't even respond to us if we put an offer in for him.

.......come on. Are we seriously suggesting that one of the great cities of Europe is comparable to Liverpool? I like Liverpool and recently it's gotten an awful lot better, but it's not Milan for Christ sake.
