AC Milan will not offer any money for him.

They are skint, and are desperate to sell players.

They have pulled out of signing Poli because they have too many midfield players.

Milan aren't even on the mainstream TV in East Asia !!

No idea if its still the case but Italian football was only on non-mainstream footie channels....

We however are on the TV frequently and have more TV adverts due to Chang than ANYONE else.

Japan however is a different kettle of fish -- Honda signs for us....were on TV every fortnight MINIMUM. This means SPONSORSHIP and MASSIVE exposure...

Regarding Milan, if he signs for them it would only be due to their name and him feeling he was world class.....if however he wanted the Premier League and also game time / idol status we get him.

“It’s the same situation for Poli, he’ll only arrive if three or four players leave first. I repeat, we have more players than are necessary right now.”

That's being a bit too simplistic - they certainly aren't skint (and compared to us they're minted) and they say the same thing every year when it comes to signing players (we will sell before we buy etc) - they never do.

The thing is, they only sign players when Berlusconi needs a political lift. I'm not sure if now is the right moment for him so I think they won't go splashing the cash this window.

That's kind of true, but not completely - they only sign 'star' players for big money when Berlusconi needs a political lift (Nesta, Inzaghi, Rui Costa, Ronaldinho, Ibrahimovic, Balotelli) etc etc, but they have a set budget for transfers every season that isn't influenced by Berlusconi, and Honda wouldn't be considered a star player in Milan.

Heres something a bit left field....

If Honda signed for us -- SO many Japanese would buy his shirt that the 'new badge' wouldn't have a bearing on our shirt sales or relationship with Kitbag...

Next season shirt sales etc would go into overdrive.

Im not sure. He would certainly be as close to the fiorst team as he would at Everton.

They may be a monster of a Club, but their starting team is not the best, and has many older players.

Fair enough but it seems like when they aren't signing star players they seem to be cutting down costs. Which doesn't really mean that they couldn't get Honda in to replace someone else for instance. Anyway I am very hungry at the moment since I ate salad for lunch so I can't think straight nor gay at the moment.

He'd be competing for one position with Boateng so he wouldn't be a guarenteed starter.

And that's not really the case anymore, Milan's average age is about 26, and I believe ours is about the same.

They've slashed their wage bill but their wage cap is still probably about £100k p/w which is still a lot more than we can pay anyone.

Ultimately, if it comes down to a choice between us and Milan we'll probably lose out - but if we act quickly and move before Milan I don't see why we couldn't sign him.

They are open to selling Boateng, along with Robinho & Emmanualson.

Just look at the game time Niang go last season. He would have got less at Everton.
