Branding turns into money with eyeballs and butts, not shirts. Give the shirts away for free! When you get people watching, that's what drives ratings, which drives brand and revenue. Want real sponsor money? Get butts and eyes. Shirts are the response, not the indicator. United don't make their money from their shirts; their shirts make money because everything else they do makes money.

I think you can rule out city, Chelsea, spurs and possibly Liverpool too as there quite well stocked up in those areas but utd and arsenal could both use him in there squads.

Think it would be a major coup if we could pull it off but it looks highly unlikely.

Not true. The deals means it wouldn't make us much as it SHOULD, but if we sold that many, we'd make extra money.

That said, as others have posted, the idea we'd sell all these replica shirts in the Far East by signing Honda is incorrect.

I've seen a lot of the lad in WC qualifiers, not just against Australia too. He's a brilliant little player, on his day better than Kagawa and on average not far behind.

I don't care what the Italian media say, there is no chance this is the case.

We would not offer 7 million for him if he is available for free any time soon, even if that was the going rate.

Well Niang had the choice and chose Milan. Wouldn't blame him for choosing Milan, but did anyone believe we would get Mirallas over the likes of Porto and Arsenal? First team football and the Premier League can be very attractive. He'd get both here.
