Replacing Fellaini

"One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and play in the Champions League.

"But Everton is a team below the top level."

Felli is quoted as saying this in a few of the rags this morning
If its to be believed it looks like the big man (probably inspired by his arl fella) is doing his best to get a move away from the club

I've been starting to get a little worried about the situation even before this quote came out, simply because we entered contract negotiations with him a good few months ago now and nothing more has been heard about it

So if he does go, firstly how much would you want/would we get for him?
And secondly who would we bring in to replace him?

Has the moutinho boat sailed? Charlie Adam? Or will we keep hold of Rodwell and just tell him to sort it out and start playing again?
 

He also got asked about a transfer to which he said NO,but papers didnt say that bit just that he wanted to leave to win things/be in champs league which as said most players say in the end


And there is no question of thinking of a transfer. "No, it's not the right time. But one thing is certain: I would like to play for a team that wins trophies and plays in the Champions League, is what his interview was translated into was a little bit of interview

i think one reason he said that is the fact that he also wants to see more ambition from owners, "get us some new quality players so we can fight for top places, then im happy and i stay"
 

Its a jarg rumour, translated from the Belgian version of tribalfootball and taken compleatley out of context, in fact if you read the whole article you will see hs sasy he has no intention of leaving Everton.

Ive now just seen a rumour that hes going to Arsenal for 15 mill - am i the only one who sees how this works.

Its all rubbish.
 
Oh and i also want to point out in reference to sell Rodwell and Fellaini threads is that everytime we "cashed in on a player" and diluted the squad its been badly gash and we've been the poorer for it IMO.

I can't be arsee with knobhead players doing their talking in the media and looking down their nose at Everton. If you dont want to be here then do one, you won't be missed.

the big feller was back at finch farm today ,did all his tests then flew out to austria with the rest of the squad
