2017/18 Jordan Pickford

Think that was the problem Tim, his positioning says he was anticipating a cross to come in, and he was ready to come out for it, total fluke it flew past him.

He's too close to his near post. Leaves way too much space over his shoulder. It's easier to come forward an extra couple of yards and claim than backtrack. He made a slight mistake and was unfortunate to be punished for it. But as I say, it had no bearing on overall result so no point dwelling.

Was the first goal mate, if Robles has played had played like that everyone would be all over him, can't be giving tiny jord a free ride

I'm not giving him a free ride. I think he made a mistake. I'm not going to worry too much tho because I think the mistakes will be few.

And no, first goal or not I think we would still have lost handily. We were thoroughly outclassed.

Don't think he was 100% fit - his kicking was awful - he's played with better Sunderland teams in front of him than today TBH - CU CU and fatty Williams were culprits in the defence - end of!

Blimey, I didn't realise that you were a goalkeeping coach. Have you offered your services to Koeman?
If he had been further away from his near post and got beaten by a near post shot, I suppose you might have been happy.
