Yes his main argument is he does not believe the rights of trans people should be made law as it is in his opinion authoritarianism. The problem is he also refuses to use pronouns regardless that it is not a legal requirement out of respect for the individual, so the stance of being opposed due to a resistance to it being a law starts to seem a smokescreen.

Would he or any of his supporters argue that we should roll back laws to protect the rights of people based on gender (m/f), race or religion because they are “authoritarian”. Well based on some of what he has said Peterson may well argue against the rights protected in law for women.

I found this assertion surprising as it does not apply in law in Canada (or anywhere else as far as I know) to any other protected group. Turns out it’s not true and is a sensationalist claim made by Peterson. Canada simply extended existing human rights legislation to transgender people.

Is he wrong to say she's not attractive ? Thats his opinion and he has a right to say that. I personally think she's fit as will many others whilst some will agree with Mr Peterson.

I dont see him inciting violence or spreading hate so I dont see why people get upset by it.

He is a really interesting guy to listen to. Whenever I scroll through social media posts and he pops up, I stop to watch. Intelligent, educated, dignified and well informed. I'm yet to see him in a debate where he has come off worse.

Engels, in the Origins of the Family, Property and Private Property outlines very clearly the biological realities sex and the social construction of gender. This is the Marxist position.

Most of what you outline is a mixture of liberalism and post-modernism. It's not a Marxist agenda at all.

Right, first thing first, you are not mild-mannered. There are countless posts in the culture wars thread proving this.

Secondly, what is highlighted in bold is literally transphobic.

Thirdly, why are you speaking about Marxism? It has absolutely nothing to do with the trans debate whatsoever, nor does it have anything to do with what you are saying. Marxism is a socio-economic system, you can’t just say “I don’t like political correctness, because it’s all Marxism as that is patently untrue. Also if Marxism and leftism is so powerful; why did Trump win in 2016, then push Biden close on 2020? why did Bolsanaro get elected? why have we had tories for 12 odd years? and why have populist politics became so popular globally?
