I’m not sure what you mean ? His and Charles Murray’s comments about race and IQ are messed up imo.

I was referring to reducing people to single quotes utterly removed from their context. It would be like me doing this:

Fair enough but the quote doesn't improve that much even with the context and reasoning behind it imo. It's not like that quote is the sole reason I dislike him, he's said countless things that I find really distasteful, most notably his recent use of pseudo science and made up figures to try and justify his comments on race and IQ.

He is a very good debater though and clearly a smart man, I just think he holds some seriously messed up views as well as having certain agendas that don't sit well with me at all.

Maybe we need another thread for discussing him

He seems to make all the 'over the top do gooders' who can't stand anyone else with a different opinion to themselfes that think they have superior morals but generally cause more trouble than do any actual good fume so that amuses me at least.

I used to like and respect the Guardian, but it's become a parody of itself at times. As myopic as the Daily Mail I'm it's own way. Shame.
