Sorry mate I was probably too aggressive there. My advice is look for the poison in the message while listening to the to him. Approaching it from that view will hopefully see you though. Ignoring the poison is my big anger.
I genuinely can't stand some of the people who who have hitched their cart to him, and he has empowered some awful knobs on their internet crusades, but I really do trust my own compass here. He says stuff with which I agree, stuff with which I don't and stuff which is utter nonsense.
I'm happy to call it poison too. The more these people gain a following, the more they become anchored to that following and less likely to form the freely constructed thoughts that made them popular in the first place. I found Peterson to be a breath of fresh air initially, less so now that he's sticking his nose into every debate imaginable, but he can still be interesting at times imo
