Only if he was doing it too come to Everton. Lescott wants away from Everton, I dont care to which club, but if Moutinho wanted to come to Everton, that would be ok. Not sure how I would feel about mere mortals tho, The Mout is a new species.

I don't recall anyone being upset with Stubbs about the whole Rooney issue. Not saying that there weren't any people upset but I hadn't heard of it.

Stretford sole goal was to work his way in to being his agent so that he could get him sold and get a slice of the pie. No other reason. Slime pure and simple.

wasnt it stubbs watson and ......cant remeber who the third player was , but there was 3 players on our books who stretford 'controlled' .

im sure the 3 players and kenny dalglish were telling rooney to move at secret meetings.
(my memory might not be so good)

But at least Moutinho has gone on record saying that he'd like a move, so it wouldn't really be the same. I've not got a problem with Lescott wanting to take the money, although it does show precisely what he values in life. I have a problem with the lateness of it all.

But shucks, that's football. At least it's given us something to get worked up about, which is something I guess.
