Will he play though.....:dodgy:Doesn't give him n Moyes time to sit down face to face. Anyhows he may get a mysterious injury while on England duty:o

I hope he will it should get sorted in the next couple of days and i can,t see davy budging.
He wants to remember a couple of years ago and he was out for a season after getting his legs done and nobody came in for him.

I have a feeling he wont come back after the England game. He is trying to force his way out, no better way than to piss Moyes off by not turning up for training.

I just hope the fans get behind him while he's playing for Everton. He wants out... Everton make huge profit. We move on.

Until Moyes feels ready to offload him (because right now it would damage us with Yobo our only fit recognised CB), and any new signing(s) settle in (Jag's took 5 months to establish himself after he signed) I think January should be the earliest Everton should think about releasing him.

His short-term future is here; his long-term future is elsewhere.

Who'd say Citeh would want him then though?

One of the mooners who claims to be on City's Sports Science department. says they have applied for Lescotts medical records today .
Now that doesn't make sense .

Hi all,
The club asked for Medical information for Joleon Lescott. We now have permission to view this information so that we can make a valuation of the player. This does not mean a transfer is going ahead this just means we can make a formal valuation rather than just bidding. We should complete this valuation around tea time. It is the upto the clubs to agree a fee. Will update when I can.

We will start around 2pm ish so I'd imagine finishing for 6ish.

It is only so we can make a formal bid. And so clubs give out info all the time. We are not talking to the player at this stage merely making a valuation and so Everton have nothing to loose by letting us make a valuation. Not puting my foot in it but this is Usually the first stepping stone in a transfer.

Why would we release records to a club we don't want to do business with ?

Seems strange would of thought they weren't allowed to see records like that unless we say they can

probably a load of rubbish

If City want him bad enough they should wait. If they sign someone else instead then poor old Joleon. It could seriosly hamper our start to the season with only 3 days to go before the big kick-off. I feel City have deliberately left it late to derail our season because they look upon us as a rival for European Qualification.

The Times talked of Hughes uping the bid to 22 mill, imo still not enough.

I understand what Goat and Azz bot are saying about kicking him out and sympathisizs with that view. However I fully support Moyes on this and the stance he has taken against a club who think they merely have to wave a cheque book. What part of the word "No" did Hughes not understand?

Lescott may as some have opined that he may go on strike or not turn up for training, if that is he wants to play IMO, fine. The club dock his wages but he is still under contract and not playing will hardly help in the World Cup year coming up. It will be another 4 years before he gats another chance.

Of course Lescott is for all intents and purposes apparently desires to leave Everton but I do not think it is to join a better club hardly it is all about wages. If we were able to increase his wages sufficiently like Chelseas did with Terry, do you think Lescott would still want to go. IMO a definite no.

Personally I think we need to keep him at this moment in time and he's going to have to man up and be a professional especially if he wants to go to South Africa next year. If City don't want him January, next summer or whenever then he'll just have to stay. I can't think of a club bigger than us who would come in for him. Maybe Arsenal.
