Played worst game ever in the shirt of #Everton. Let teammates and fans down but they never let me down. Will work hard to come back strong

This from his twitter on saturday. Fairly certain he knows he's not up to par at the moment. This is what gives me hope, even with so called fans booing and slating his clapping the fans. Don't know what else he can do but keep plodding and working harder. Should probably be dropped for these last two performances, but it's not like we have a wealth of choices except for Duffy. Frustrating times.

He knows theres nowhere to hide on the Pitch... he'll be back.

I like his honesty. I don't think you could ever say he wasn't passionate about his football, which is positive.

Not true at all. Jags was playing horrifically, to the point fans wanted Arsenal to buy him.
We can't write off Johnny considering we stuck with Jags through his spell of bad form.[/QUOTE]

The difference is, Jags was off form but trying, wheras Johnny doesn't seem to give a toss, my Gran would have made more effort to keep up with Benteke and she's been six foot under for 20 years.

so would have mine and she's about 4 foot and about 20 stone.

the way he didn't even try for the first goal was reminiscent of lescott vs arsenal. he made benteke look like usain bolt. he can't defend against powerful strikers and he can't defend against pace. how exactly has he done anything in his career as a centre back?

Word has it the club have been trying to move him on for the best part of two years. He surely must know about this. He seems to have a lot of faith in his ability and a professional enough approach, so I'm sure he says the right things and works hard. But to be fair to him, it must be hard to motivate yourself to play for a team that want you out? I hope he can come back from this and start playing at a decent level because we need everyone if we want to push on.

He's been absolute gash this season. I'd rather we took a chance on Stones playing at OT than see that gimp in the line up again.

He's gone right up the cr*pper hasn't he?

Surely be dropped for Sunday? Surely?

He looks happy in the calendar for Feb though. That's nice.
