Yes and Mina. I think people are getting a little carried away myself with Mason. Not for me but better than Keane, I think you will agree on that.

Let’s not rewrite history that he wasn’t a top defender for us and absolutely leagues above Keane or Mina. Yeah he ha the odd brain fart but compared to those carthorse did take him any day.
He was more than alright mate.He wasn't a top defender for us though!
He was alright, showed a load of potential.
I don't see what Mina has done wrong to say Stones is leagues above him?
Keane is rubbish like...
He was more than alright mate.
The rumours about him returning are still floating around. Part of me thinks it's just lazy journalism and then part of me thinks he's probably an improvement on Keane.
Yes he was until the last few months he was outstanding. That's why City bought him and it's why he has two prem medals.Outstanding with the ball. Was he?. What did he do for us exactly?
He was fine with potential to be really good.
I can agree with that it's about partnerships, I think he was better than average myself. When he came in the side people wetting themselves over him.Good footballer, average defender. Has always needed a top cb next to him to hold his hand

Disagree outstanding on the ball.To say he is average is silly. He is not "oustanding with the ball"
He is good on the ball for a centre back, there is a massive difference there. This is why people who are saying he should play in midfield are ridiculous.
Fabian Delph has two prem medals, everyone hates him. Means nothing.
Stones was decent for us, could have been great, could have been great at City too but has not pushed on to be so.
Currently all I am seeing as an above average footballing centre back with below average defensive capabilities.(actually that's maybe a bit harsh, he is average rather than below average).
Everyone has weaknesses.Bobby Moore had weaknesses Kevin Redcliffe had weaknesses.I agree they were, its because they were wowed by his ability on the ball (ie he doesn't hoof the ball away). It takes a bit of time though for fans to pick up on his defensive weaknesses.
He’s good and is superb on the ball but don’t think he’s ever came close to being as good as he could’ve been defensively.I can agree with that it's about partnerships, I think he was better than average myself. When he came in the side people wetting themselves over him.
I would have him back myself but I could see spurs or Arsenal being in for him. He’s good and is superb on the ball but don’t think he’s ever came close to being as good as he could’ve been defensively.
Don’t think he’s got it in him to be the senior cb in a partnership which is what he’s need to be here, has only ever looked good with a stronger cb next to him to babysit him, jags,Dustin, Laporte, kompany. Stick him next to a not so stellar partner and he’s quite suspect
....I’d be concerned that the game doesn’t matter too much to him post-Man City. He’s also had injury problems and we’re already seeing that manifest with Delph.
We need players with attitude.
