As stated we should have zero interest in him.

He didnt have a defensive bone in his body when at Everton and we incredibly got massive money because he can pass the ball out from
centre half.

His mistakes per game and ability not to pick up/track players at crucial stages of every game increase by the month.

He had a purple patch of being spot on defensively but at either ends of his time with us he was poor there. At the beginning it was chalked up to inexperience. At the end period it was because his head was turned. Now we know unequivocally it was neither.

I don't understand why because he's a very skilful player. I suppose his decision making let's him down sometimes, but that should have been
coached out of him by now.

I’m not sure you can coach decision making, you can either keep your head under pressure and make the right pass or you cannot. I liked Stones, enjoyed watching him, but he got bigger up as a world beater based on his skills. World beaters have the skills plus the mentality. Stones (like Barkley) had plenty of the former, precious little of the latter.
