If it wasn't for this nob head stadium project that Kenwright wants to waste money on, then we would already have said that he ain't for sale at any price. Unfortunately, there are still plenty of Evertonians who think a nob head stadium project would be in Everton's best interests, when in reality it won't benefit anyone because it won't actually happen, an even if it did, the main beneficiaries will be Kenwright and Earle, the people who have been playing you like a fiddle for years.

I don't think it's all tied up in the John Stones Money mate.

Or maybe it has been this whole time.

*faints

Supposedly he's keen on a move. I don't necessiliary blame him as he could quadruple his wages. So slap a firm absurd price tag on him (and at the least offer Stones say 75K/week) and stop this press nonsense. Liverpool got 50M for a player that may not be worth 1/2 that this way.

They were expecting to sell Barkley right about now, and for a figure far greater than what is being offered for Stones. Nobody is interested in Barkley, so they are going to sell Stones instead, all so Bill Kenwright can 'rescue us' with an attempt to build a new stadium, which will fail.

i'm really intrigued about how you are coming to this conclusion.

Wouldn't Everton Football club be possibly the worst place to try to make money through plotting and scheming?

It's quite simple mate, without selling playing assets, this new stadium project, that they're supposedly looking at making a planning application for before Christmas, will not happen.

I personally think that a Premier League football club allows great opportunity for making money through a bit of plotting and scheming. There was plenty of plotting and scheming during the Kirkby debacle, all in the name of money. There is going to be opposition to this WHP project as well, and there will be plenty of plotting and scheming taking place, there already is.

Given Rio Ferdinand in 2002 went for 32M was it and they sold side show bob for 50Mill
I can see In reality 40M; no add-ons, no take xxM off for Lukaku.

Then given Maureen's crass comments = 50+Mill.

as he said 'The Market is where the market is'

so 60 million is not out of the question! according to the chosen one!

Sergio Ramos is being valued at what, £41 million and he's won pretty much all there is to win and is a top, experienced defender. Set against that you'd say Stones should be nowhere near, but English players always go for silly money, as evidenced by Sterling going for £49 million. In a crazy way you could almost see Stones being the same price as Ramos, which is nuts. I would certainly sell him for that.

Ramos is old, well past his peak and would command HUGE wages (£150k a week whereas Stones would prob get 60k - 70k) and again FFP adds a big premium to English players

STOP believing the PRESS . HE IS NOT KEEN ON A MOVE !!!!

If he isn't keen then he'll stay and get a nice raise. We are just letting Chelsea dictate the terms right now and they are pretty adept at unsettling players. So be proactive, set a firm price and stop contact with Chelsea.
