The Equaliser
Player Valuation: £50m
You ITK ?...so you know the clubs valuation...pray tell.
Or you just plaing Fifa or reading the Scandalrags.
No I don't and never said I did.
You clearly want to just have an argument so I'll leave it there.

There clearly is some money but it depends on how much you feel the squad needs improving.
I really hope so.I have no doubt the days before the window closes Chelsea will offer 35-40m.
Do we have the spine to stay firm?
It's a guess.
No argument fellow Blue, just that I think If & its a big If we do sell it will be much more than £ 35 mil.No I don't and never said I did.

Some additional quotes in the Mail
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...legal-comments-John-Stones.html#ixzz3i54IqaGI
Martinez, who has ruled out complaining to the Premier League over Chelsea's conduct, said: 'You know that is illegal. The rules do not allow you to comment in that open manner on players who are registered at other clubs. It is disappointing.
'We have a fantastic relationship between the two clubs and in the past we made our biggest investment in Chelsea.
'We all know there are rules and regulations and it is something we don't want to see when other clubs speak about your players. It is wrong and it shouldn't happen.'
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has suggested his club will not make any more signings this summer, but the feeling remains they will return with another offer for Stones. Martinez says he has no intention wasting time trying to second-guess what Chelsea will do but re-affirmed Everton's position.
'John Stones is not for sale, we have said that many times,' Martinez stressed. When asked if Everton would look to review Stones' contract, Martinez said: 'At the moment the focus is to bring in three players.'
There are certain ways out of it like pointing to the "I am not stupid enough to say I know what will happen." and if Stones hands in a trafer request then referencing previous statement that he wouldn't keep players against their will.No turning back after that....
I do not see how a bid on the last day of the window or the second last day will encourage Everton to sell, it is the opposite, Everton will not have time to get a replacement, the money can't be used and the player will probably be worth even more in twelve months anyway. It is unlikely Chelsea will lose interest and the Player still has a three year contract.I have no doubt the days before the window closes Chelsea will offer 35-40m.

Haha I know he is.... just differ on a price the club may (hope not) may be tempted to sell .I don't think he meant it that way mate, more of an opinion than anything. He's a good poster is the equaliser and I'm not too sure if he plays Fifa though I may be wrong![]()

That would surely require a large fee in the Sterling range to rush through a transfer this window? No?There are certain ways out of it like pointing to the "I am not stupid enough to say I know what will happen." and if Stones hands in a trafer request then referencing previous statement that he wouldn't keep players against their will.
But it certainly raises the stakes which I think Martinez is smart enough not to do unless he felt he had a good hand to play.
The Telegraph report much the same apart from a different take on a new Stones contract. Mourinho's press conference which I presume is tomorrow could be interesting.

Everton will reassess Stones’s contract to reflect his status as a player valued in excess of £30 million. Martínez said: “He is not for sale, we have said that many times. I am not stupid enough to say I know what will happen, or that I have a crystal ball, but I have always said John Stones is not for sale.”
