It's clear we need a new keeper. We were linked with Begovic in January, I think he'd be ok. Nothing spectaular but good enough.

Spot on with this, a pulis side containing 4 CBs was always going to cause trouble from set pieces and the fact we didnt put someone on the post or at least work on it during the week leaves everyone involved to blame, losing a header to a physical tall side is difficult to take but understandable, not doing anything as a precaution of not winning the header is unacceptable.

Common trend for us on set pieces with Joel in net is to leave the posts unmarked and as people have said Baines tends to mark one post when Howard plays so id guess that its the GKs preference of having someone there or not, yet again more shambolic set piece problems that have to be worked on but from the sound of it are never even looked at.

Begovic is terrible. I don't know why people keep thinking he'd be a good idea. If he wasn't such a terrible backup, Mourinho might still have a job.

Anyone blaming Joel and not our manager or Cleverley is talking out of their poo pipe
