Spot on Timmy falls on his backside for everything he saves mainly with his legs now the sign of an ageing keeper!

I was told about him very early on. His potential was obvious from his first senior appearance, so it isnt a good comparison mate.

As a right back yes I heard we had a youing great right back , but under RM he made a centre back out of him DM nearly blew signing him mate!

Come on now, look at the years 2010 to 2013, we hardly signed anyone and it was a sell to buy regime. In 2011 summertime it was sell to survive.

In 2013 January he bought Stones, I doubt we could have afforded to get Butland as well.
To say Butland wasn't signed because Moyes had faith in Howard is just a theory with nothing to back it up.

Really THREE years on , and no one can displace super crappy Tim - a bog standard keeper when we signed him a shot stopper, and no more that that at nearly 37 years old he is sadly finished but oh lets wait, and see hey!
Not good enough for UNT not good enough for us after 3 years I would say!

No idea what you are saying, I've not mentioned Tim. I was talking about Butland and us not having the funds to sign him.

DM had funds its a myth he just messed about e.g. Dean Ashton going for 1 million signed Jame Beattie {utter gash} for 6 million so I do not get your point he could have saved 5 million there!

Oh come on, so why did we make no signings from 2010 to 2012 January. Even in Kenwrights interview with the BU he had to beg the banks in 2011 to keep the wolves from the door.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, shall we have a go at Martinez for not signing Ali?
