Because its a clean sheet as my post outlines get some glasses please!lol
But I didn't bring up clean sheets. You asked if I had counted 0-0 draws. I said I had, and there were two of them. Then you corrected me and said there were three, and pointed out the 1-0 win as one of them.

Honestly, you've got me a bit dizzy.

12 in 18 months for super TIM - and Roble gets the on the bounce inside 3 weeks urm Id go back to the drawing board or get a bigger shovel as the hole you dig yourself is just getting bigger!

I just don't know what point @Joey66 is trying to make, though. Joel Robles had three clean sheets in a row last year, yes. Excellent. Nobody has ever claimed he didn't. Probably shouldn't have been dropped back to the bench afterward, sure. But that's not really relevant to anything any more, is it? There's an excellent argument to be made that Robles should be our starting goalkeeper in the league now, but it really doesn't have all that much to do with last season.

What hole? What are you arguing? What point are you trying to make?

Hip Hip hooray By George I think he got our points on Robles over Tim Howard;)

You seem like a fine man, Joey, with strong convictions. To be honest, though, nothing you have written about Tim Howard or Joel Robles has convinced me of anything. Robles' performances in the last couple of months have been quite good, though.

The one you are digging saying Tim has good stats over the last 18 months!
I've never claimed he's played well over the last 18 months, though. I've said he's been decent this season and awful last season. So for the majority of the last 18 months he's had very bad stats.

Do you not just wonder why RM plays him ahead of Robles then? look Robles may not be the answer , but as you have said he looks far more than decent - give him a run in the team and lets see what he is made of - if he does not make it we need TWO Keepers!

Joel didn't have much more to do than Howard today, but what he did, he did well and looked calm and confident. Based on the calm and confident bit, if I was Martinez, I'd start him on Wednesday and use an excuse of continuity before the second leg of the semi to save Howard's face.

He won't like, Tim'll start on Wednesday.
