Never saw any of the game today, I've made it quite clear I don't rate Robles but he deserves to keep his place instead of Howard. I hope Martinez keeps him in the team midweek.

Second football fact: Excluding penalty shootouts, Everton have won only two of the last 12 games against Premier League teams where Joel Robles has been in goal.

Before @Joey66 gets too excited, I'm still very happy he's been playing well lately and I would have absolutely no issues with Martinez starting him on Wednesday. Let's not make too much out of our form with him in goal, though.

Forgetting his 0-0 draws @mlyons work your stats anyway you want heard he commanded crosses well today never seen the game heard the 2nd half where they had a free kick , and Ronnie Goodless said look at that our keeper left his line and plucked it out of the air!
I agree he is an improvement a very big improvement on Tim!

I'm not forgetting his 0-0 draws. There were two of them in those 12 matches. One of them he actually played very well in.

wrong Three conceseutive clean sheetes -
Derby game at home 0-0
Crystal palace away won 1-0
home v West brom drew 0-0
you cant even count goodness knows what stats you are looking at that is off the top of my head , and spot on!

Consecutively. Howard's had 12 clean sheets in the last 18 months. He hasn't clumped them together the way Joel has, though.

The 1-0 win was one of the two matches against Premier League teams we've won with Joel in goal. You keep correcting mistakes I haven't made.
