Joel Robles

Martinez will lose my support if he carried on with this stubbon streak of his starting players who don't deserve it. Howard was dreadful,Robles was good. OK I will still start Howard. Martinez did say he believe a goalkeeper sgojld nt have to fight for his place a it will make them nervous and you can't have nervous keepers but keeping a keeper in who past his best is plain silly and will cost him his job

Turn to the kopite shouts when you've been had off. Beaut.

I'm the one who's been proven right and not jumped all over a players one game performance hailing him the messiah in the sort of manner we'd mock our neighbours for..

Remember when everyone was laughing at then hailing Klopp last week even though he'd done nothing?...

in what way did he 'keep us in the cup'?
He stopped a couple of shots on his line that Howard could have dealt with, and was only stopped from blowing our chances in the shootout by Norwich's inability to watch last years shoot out with West Ham.

Joel can't do penalties, he dive well before the ball is struck. Against West am they ended up just waiting until he was out of the way, then rolled it in the other side. Tonight we were only saved be the fact Hooligan saw him diving one way, then still proceeded to kick it to that side for some reason, that and the other melt ballooned it over the top.

Joel wasn't terrible, he made some good saves, in fact he made a couple of pretty damn decent ones as well, but he's not the Second Coming of Christ no matter how much you all hate Howard. Howard makes similar saves every week but gets persecuted for his failings in a way that Joel doesn't.

Sorry if you all think this is a bit harsh, especially tonight having just scraped through on pens against Norwich (and he DID play well), but its the truth.

Some of them have been caught up with the Sky sports bubble and are off in Redknappland now after one game mate, sad how Evertonians have been dragged down to this level.

Wow. How good does he have to be, and how bad does Howard have to be, for him to get a run in the side?

Incredible lack of balls/faith from Martinez and really puts me off him a bit. I'd expect even a keeper of Courtois/De Gea's standard to be dropped if they were in the kind of form Howards been in over the past 18 months.
