Joel Robles

You forget he was playing in a makeshift team who played poor tonight, our midfield was 2nd best - Robles saved us more than once tonight his ball distribution is accurate and speedy, TH needs a rest end of!
What does he have to do to get dropped??????

For me, he did it at the weekend.......

How is a player supposed to stay motivated when he knows that, no matter how well he plays when called upon and how poorly the man he would replace is playing, he'll still never get in the team?

first 3 balls into the 6-yard box: first he stayed on his line and Norwich should have scored; second, he came out and totally missed it - Norwich should have scored; third, low cross from their right, he parried it out centrally, fortunately hit a defender and we scrambled it clear. Yes, he made some good saves, but isn't that what we call Howard - a shot-stopper? Makes you wonder about the coaching when both keepers show the same habits.
At the moment, his distribution is where he scores over Howard, but not sure that is enough going forward. Would keep in him though, just to improve the atmosphere

Give the lad a run out, there's a little potential, he needs to work on confidence. I think the back four will feel assured with him in net as opposed to Howard.

The last minute save against Grabban's header was great. Kept us in the tie,

EDIT: This one

On that first video most of them saves are routine but he just dives in a dramatic way to make them look better.

Despite that I would still give him a go on Sunday. I liked his distribution, especially his long kicks, which created quick breaks.

Could everyone stay on topic and talk about Robles please instead of that washed up has been called Tim Howard?

All I'm seeing is Americans and Dougie going repeatedly off topic because they can't get enough of the bald whopper, it's like they're not even Everton supporters, but USMNT supporters. Surprised they're still here after Donovan left.
Bad gambit.

Anyone notice how much better his kicking is this season? I remember when he first played for us he was constantly putting spin on his kicks or just kicking them straight out.
