With everybody getting TV money buying a keeper who is the finished article from an English club is going to be difficult and costly. Hopefully Joel saves us the bother. It is time for one of our young keepers to come through.

Pretty sure he must be injured otherwise it would be pretty stupid not having him on the bench.

Would the fact that he is injured rather then just dropped fot being totally gash not protect his transfer value though.

E.g.: Joel came in when Tim Howard picked up an injury and his form was such that we couldnt drop him, Tim is still world class though.

Rather then:

Tim Howard couldnt make the bench for us because he is compleatly gash.

I personally haven't seen enough of Robles to tell if he is good enough to be our first choice. I've seen enough to know he deserves the opportunity to try for it.

Easily pleased then lad. I hope he gets the rest of the season to develop and impress but he is nowhere near being in the class of the keepers of the top 6 teams
