Joel Robles

It's his decision making and ability to catch when under pressure and, ultimately, they are the two things you want in a 'keeper in the modern game. He punches far too often and needlessly, and he constantly doesn't know when to stick and twist when a ball is played forward, leaving us skittish in defence.

He needs to improve tenfold before he's ready to be a 'keeper for us.

Can't understand all the fuss. Robles is clearly no. 2s.

Ofcourse he is. But he'll be playing a lot of games this season.

Clearly you havnt seen much of Southall.

Thou shall not take Nevs name in vain - the best keeper in the world.
Course i have, he was the best, the best in the world...but he's not now soft lad. Hence why i wouldn't pick him now haha

@Neiler do you still think Wayne Hennessey (currently on the bench for Crystal Palace after playing one game in four months and most recently loaned to Yeovil) is better than Tim Howard?

I think he has potential. He's tall, athletic, a good shot stopper and comes for crosses. He just needs to improve his decision making including when to catch.

But he's only young and keepers normally don't peak until much later.

We should lay off him a bit.
