Ofcourse, but when it comes to this we have no idea the history here, and I wouldn't throw someone under the bus for having a personal meltdown.
He probably asked a million times not to run the story, and lost his [Poor language removed] when they wouldn't listen.
But that all by itself was wrong. It is a legitimate story, Politico should run it as there is an obvious conflict of interest. It would be a story in any administration, heck I even think there was a West Wing TV story line about the potential issues it raises when a White House press person has a relationship with a journalist who is meant to be covering them impartially (CJ Craig and Danny Concannon)
I’m very sympathetic to the stress he is under health wise, think I posted an article earlier in the thread about him and how difficult it most be to juggle his job with his treatment. However his job does come with responsibilities and professionalism is important.
